PONGAL

Ingredients
Rice - 2 cups
Splited moong dhal - 1 cup
Milk- 1/2 cup
Water- 12 cups
Ginger-1 tsp(grated)
Salt- to taste
Ghee-2 Tbsp
Cumin seed-1tsp
pepper corn-1tsp
Cashew nuts-1/4 cup
Curry leaves-1 sprig
Method
Wash the Rice & dhal .
In a pressure cooker or pan, add ginger,salt,water, milk & salt.
Simmer in slow flame upto 4 whistle.
Heat ghee in kadai,add cumin seed,pepper corn,curry leaves,cashewnut saute few mins & add to the pongal& mix well.
Serve with sambar or chutneys.

hi...earlier she was workin in central london near victoria but jusa month back she was shifted to another one....she is working as front office manager ,..have asked her which place she workin now,..will let u knw soon...pongal looks nice...mus have made for the festival,...

Doesn't the milk curdle when you add it along with everything else to the pressure cooker?
