MOR KUZHAMBU

RM 2# Day 8

Ingredients


Curd- 1 cup

Coconut - 2 tbsp(grated)

Coriander seed- 2 tsp

G.chillies-2 ea

Ginger- 1 tsp (grated)

Rice flour- 1 tsp

Mustard seed- 1 tsp

Urad dhal- 1 tsp

Curry leaves- 1 sprig

Okra- 100gms

Oil- 1 tbsp

Turmeric powder- 1/4 tsp

Salt- to taste

Water- 3 cups


Method

Blend grated Coconut, ginger, chilles, corinader seed & rice flour to a fine paste & keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan temper with mustard seed,urad dhal & curry leaves.

Add okra(approx 1 inch cut ) to fry .

In the mean while take a bowl add curd , turmeric powder ,ground paste & 3 cups of water, mix well.

Add this mixture to the okra pan & boil for 3- 4 mins.
Check seasoning.

Serve hot with Rice.

We make similar version called, majjige huli, usually made with squash. Like the variation you made with okra. Looks tempting.
