MYSORE PAK (Soft) - 100 th POST

Most important information to mention is some of the recipees from my site has been copied as it is in another blog http://thelivedemo.com/category/indian-recepies/ wherein i feel that many others recipees have been copied. Do verify with your recipees whether it has been followed to take in legal actions.

This is a basic recipee most of indian favourite sweets in India. Basically from the place called Mysore in Karnataka.

RM 2# Day 14


Ingredients

Gram flour-1 cup

Sugar- 2 cups

Ghee- 2 1/2 cups

khoa- 1 cup(with out sugar)


Method


Preheat the pan, add gram flour to fry in dry heat & keep it aside.


Add sugar in a deep bottoam kadai, make a sugar syrap upto 2 thread sticks consistancy.



Add khoa to mix well & add 1 cup ghee. Heat until the khoa melts in.



Add gram flour mix well & add leftover ghee.


Mix well & empty it in a greased pan & allow it to set.


Allow it to cool & portion it into equal squares & serve.

Having associated "mysore" to "pak", never occured to me that it was actually from the city of Mysore!
