PANEER BUTTER MASALA

RM 2# Day 19



Ingredients

Onion- 1 ea( chopped)

Tomato- 4-5 ( chopped)

or Canned tomato- 1 can

Cashew nuts- 10 ea


Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp

Butter- 50gms

Cloves- 2 ea


Cardamom- 2 ea

Bay leaves- 1 or 2

Cumin seed- 2 tsp

Paneer- 2 cups(cubed)

Cilanteo- for garnishing

Curd-1 cup (or fresh cream)

Red chilli powder- 2 tsp

Dried kasturi methi- 2 tsp

Turmeric powder- 1 tsp

Garam masala- 1 tsp

Coriander powder- 1 tsp

Honey- 1 tbsp

Method

Boil onion & cashew nut to make a fine paste.Grind tomato to a fine paste separately.


Deep fry the paneer (do not change colour) & keep aside.

Heat butter in a pan, add cloves, cardamom,bay levaes , cumin seed, g.chilles,ginger garlic paste,onion cashew paste & saute few mins.

Add red chilli powder,turmeric powder,garam masala powder, coriander powder to cook until raw flovours extacts.
Add ground tomato paste , Dried kasturi methi & allow to cook.

Add Yohurt (or fresh cream) to mix well.

Add dried paneer & check the seasoning.

Mix gently & finish with honey.

Garnish with cilantro.

Serve hot with chappathi, naan, or rice.
