RAGADA PATTIES

RM 2# day 5




Ingredients (For Peas Masala)

Green peas- 100gms

Onion- 1 ea( finely chopped)

Tomato - 1- 2 ea (finely chopped)

Garam masala- 2 tsp

Coriander powder- 1 tsp

Cumin powder-1/2 tsp

Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp

Oil- 2 tsp

Salt- to taste

Cumin seed- 1 tsp

Cilantro- 1 cup

(For Patties)

Potato- 200 gms( Boiled & Mashed)

Bread- 4 ea

Red chilli powder- 1 tsp

Amchur powder- 1 tsp

Salt- to taste

Method

Soak the peas over night.

Blend in raw Onionstomatoes, cilantro, ginger & garlic to make a fine paste.

Heat pressure pan or cooker, add oil, cumin seed & ground paste to saute few mins.

Add all powders and allow it to cook. Add soaked peas.

Add 3 cups of water , cover the lid & allow 3 - 4 whistle, keep it aside.

Mix potato with all ingredients mix well & make fine balls & press to make even patties.

Heat oil in a pan, shallow fry & serve hot with peas masala & chopped raw onions.

I've never made this with green peas before.. am sure it tastes just the asme as the white ones. So filling & yummy.
