TOMATO PULAO

RM# 2 DAY 3

Ingredients

Tomato - 4- 5 ea(chopped)

Onion- 1 ea( chopped)

Ginger garlic paste- 2 tsp

Bay leaf- 2 ea

Cardamom- 2 ea

Cloves- 2 ea

Cinnamon stick-2

Star aniseed- 1 ea

Fennal seed- 1 tsp

Red chilli - 3 ea(Acc to taste)

Turmeric powder- 1 tsp

Mustard seed- 1 tsp

Salt- to taste

Boiled rice- 300gms

Oil- 1tbsp

Cashew nut- 10 ea

Method

In a dry pan roast cardamom, cloves, cinnamon stick, aniseed, fennel seed, red chilli .

Blend it to a powder & keep it aside.

Heat oil in a pan, add mustard seed, cashew nuts,chopped onion, ginger garlic paste & saute few mins.

Add chopped tamoto allow to cook well.

Add ground masala powder and allow it to cook.

cook until the raw flavours extrac & add boiled rice.mix well.

Serve hot with any Raiths or pappad or chips.
